Before there was a bridge, there was a neighborhood.
The Human Collective Foundation began in 2020 with a simple conviction: the people closest to a need are usually the ones who can meet it. Generation Hope is how that conviction looks in Clay County. We come alongside the social workers embedded in our school systems, the ones who know which child came to school without a coat and which family is one hard week away from losing everything, and we make sure they have what they need to help.
The work is quiet. It happens in guidance offices and car lines and church fellowship halls.
It has been happening since 2020, and it is not slowing down.

Providing aid and resources to our community’s social workers and teachers so that they may fill the needs of the overwhelming number of at risk children, within our local school system.
50 Schools
For the 2021-22 school year, there are 50 public schools serving 37,366 students in Clay County, FL. Clay County has one of the highest concentrations of top ranked public schools in Florida.
Poverty
According to Data USA the 2019 POVERTY RATE in clay county is 10.2%. Statistically each school has an average of 747 students per school. This means there are over 75 students in need.
We have a 3.74% rate of DECLINE (pre COVID-19). These numbers are far more what we are hearing from each school.
Social Workers
Currently there are only 11 Social workers serving 41 Schools. Each social worker has a minimum of 3 schools.
"Generation HOPE" is our year round program. Our mission is to ensure that every child has the basic needs to be grow, be successful and reach their dreams!
